My Logo My Faith
This logo was designed after my name — Hsi-Yang — which means "the sun rises from the ocean". The ocean is the largest quantity of the water which benefits all things and does not compete with them (上善若水). I want my design to permeate people’s life thoughtfully and gently like water. In addition, the design of this logo is not only “form and function (meaning)” but also well calculated. Just like the design I want to achieve, it is purified and transmits the message precisely with deliberately calculation.

Industrial design WAS the way how I discovered the world. It lead me to discover how things are made and how the products are developed, and provided me the opportunities to make them better. In order to elevate the design (and to satisfy my curiosity), I exposed myself to diverse environment, understanding various cultures and markets. After stacking design skills and experience, I want to stand on them to reach next unpredictable challenges. I hope what I can accomplish is not only designs but more innovative and more feasible solutions, practically including concerns not only on form and function but also on business, manufacturing, society, humanity, politics, and time. Now I want to bring something innovative to the world.
I want to add new vocabulary to Dictionary with my design.
Just a few years ago, the word — tablet — had nothing relevant to computer; and the word — smartphone — could not be recognised as a correct spelling. I want my design to be the next new vocabulary in the dictionary.
